What is a Growth Preference Share?

Article

Preference shares take priority over ordinary share dividends. In most cases, they’re used as a vehicle to fund specific projects. At Acorn, the funds raised from issuing preference shares will support numerous projects including our new developments, Ashton Fields project in the Cotswolds and Market Quay in Falmouth, Cornwall, which is currently subject to planning.

What is the Ashton Fields project?

Ashton Fields is our latest and most ambitious project to date. Located in the Cotswolds, the site will include 75, two to three bedroomed homes, many of which will be detached.

The site itself sits within an area of outstanding natural beauty (AONB) and is part of the Cotswold Water Park. The area includes several lakes and listed buildings, all of which will be fully redeveloped. These homes will also be available as primary residences (with the option for use as second homes).

Ashton Fields also offers access to Cirencester, Swindon, and Gloucester via the A417. Trains from nearby Kemble offer a direct and regular train route into London Paddington, providing different options for a variety of needs.

Plus, as with all other Acorn projects, Ashton Fields will be designed and constructed according to our Different by Design principles. This ethos ensures the homes we build are sympathetic to the natural environment and encourage long-term sustainability.
